S&K Aerospace (SKA) provides the Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF) F-15 C/D/S/SA supply chain management services for: bench stock, depot supply replenishment, and spot buys. SKA forecasts, purchases, and delivers bench stock items and quantities required and stores items as necessary to ensure a continuous flow of materials to the bins and bin locations In-Kingdom. We purchase and stock depot or common items and quantities required and deliver them to the RSAF Depot Supply facility at Khamis Mushayt Air Force Base (KAAB) to meet requisition requirements. Using both our Management Information Systems (MIS) and Quantum Services, we maintain, monitor, and track historical data for trends to proactively identify potential surge requirements and make recommendations to the customer. SKA also procures additional items (spot buys) not originally listed in the customer’s catalog. Upon identification of requirements or receipt of customer request for these items, SKA prioritizes, validates and researches the requirements using all accessible databases to determine availability and identify potential and qualified Source of Supply (SOS).
SKA also provides management of logistics support personnel both Continental United States (CONUS) and In-Kingdom. The transition of this contract was challenging due to ramp-up of inventory, as well as unfamiliar warehouse spaces and equipment, In-Kingdom. SKA rapidly procured product and shipped it to Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) for storage and distribution. Our ability to initiate warehousing, hire personnel, react to constant changes and continue improving in purchasing, warehousing, and distribution are a testament to SKA’s commitment to delivering world-class performance for our customers. We currently accomplish a 96-98% bin fill rates across all RSAF F-15 bases, continually refining operations to achieve 100%.
