UAV Systems Support

S&K Aerospace provides a multitude of advisory and assistance services to the Medium Altitude UAS Division at Wright Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, Ohio. The Medium Altitude UAS Division is responsible for managing the acquisition of the Air Force’s MQ-1 Predator and MQ-9 Reaper Unmanned Aircraft Systems.

The services performed by S&K are necessary to ensure maximum operational responsiveness and flexibility for certain missions within the division. These missions require rapid upgrades to existing weapons systems for operations ranging from intelligence collection to electronic countermeasures to conventional and unconventional warfare. Work under this contract requires coordination and discussions with Air Force project managers, prime contractors, subcontractors, and concerned Government agencies including Major Commands, operating agencies, the National Space and Intelligence communities, and related organizations.

Three different Medium Altitude UAS operating locations are supported under this contract; Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio and detachments in Poway, California and Gray Butte, California. S&K personnel are required to have Secret level, Top Secret level, and TS/SCI security clearances. S&K also provides support in association with Foreign Military Sales (FMS) activities.
